What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel helps the hyaluronic acid stay in place where injected. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers dissolve naturally with most lasting at least a year. Others may last longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. What is Sculptra exactly?
Sculptra is a bio stimulatory injectable comprised of poly-L-lactic acid that helps to restore facial volume gradually. When injected, it stimulates your skin's natural ability gradually to make collagen. Over time, the poly-L lactic acid is biodegraded to create a new meshwork of collagen. Treatment areas may include, temples, cheeks, nasolabial folds, and jawline. The majority of patients will need three treatments in the first few months, followed by one annual treatment. What is Kybella anyway?
