What are HA Fillers exactly?
Juvederm, Restylane and other hyaluronic acids fillers are suspended in a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acids immediately pulls in water and increases volume. This works well for deeper to more severe wrinkles, folds, and areas of the face where more volume is needed. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins exactly?
Botox and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins that can temporarily help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and lines to appear and grow over time. Botox, Dysport and Dysport temporarily relax these muscle contractions. The skin will appear smoother.
Common areas to treat include the forehead and frown lines. Although results are visible in a few days following treatment, the effects will last for two weeks. Results can last up four months if taken as directed.
What is Sculptra exactly?
Sculptra is a bio-stimulatory injectable that contains poly-L-lactic Acid. It helps to gradually restore facial volume. It is injected into the skin to stimulate your natural ability to create collagen over time. The poly-L–lactic acid is biodegraded gradually and replaced by a matrix of new collagen over several months. Treatment areas can include the jawline and temples. Some people require three treatments initially, then one each year. Results can last more than two years!
What is Kybella?
Kybella is an injectable treatment approved to permanently destroy fat cells. Depending on the amount and type of fat, one to five Kybella vials might be necessary. Multiple treatment sessions may also be required. The submental fat, otherwise known as a double chin, is the most common area that requires treatment. Treatments can be stopped once the desired aesthetic goal was achieved.

What is Dermaplane, exactly?
Dermaplaning uses a medical-grade surgical blade to remove the surface layer of dead skin, debris, and hair. A single session can remove about 2-3 weeks worth of built up dead skin cells or debris. Dermplane is painless and non-invasive. Although it may look like shaving, dermplane is more efficient because the blade can reach the top layer of the skin. The hair will not grow back darker - dermaplaning targets vellus hairs (peach fuzz), which are the same size as the original. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. There is no downtime.
What is a Chemical Peel and how does it work?
A chemical peel is a procedure that involves applying a chemical solution on the skin to remove the outer layers of the dermis. Chemical peels can improve skin texture and radiance as well as reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. They also help decongest and treat acne-prone skin. Chemical peels are available in three strengths: superficial, medium and deep. Your concerns and the type of peel you select will determine how much improvement your skin receives. For most, multiple treatments are recommended to achieve the best results.
What is Clear + Brilliant Laser?
Clear + Brilliant Laser uses advanced technology. However, Clear + Brilliant treatments are easy to obtain. All treatments begin with a consultation with your skincare practitioner to see if Clear + Brilliant is right for you - and to pinpoint some of the key trouble spots it can help address. Your practitioner will then recommend a Clear+ Brilliant Laser treatment plan. There are two handpieces you can choose from, one to address issues with skin texture like fine lines/wrinkles as well as poor size and brown spots.
What is an Insta-Glo Facial and how do you use it?
You will be glowing for days with our signature Insta-Glo Facial! This facial combines a HydroJelly masque along with a customized ampoule that is tailored to your skin.
First, clean and exfoliate your skin. The ampoule then gets applied to the skin. The HydroJelly mask is then applied. After that, the HydroJelly masque is applied. Finally, you can apply the products to your skin. The downtime is minimal.
