What are HA Fillers?

Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acids immediately pulls in water and increases volume. This is great for moderate to deeper wrinkles and folds of the face or areas where more volume is desired like cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve naturally and can last up to one year, with some lasting even longer.

About Kansas City

Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the KansasMissouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.

Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.

The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.

What are Neurotoxins and how can they be avoided?

Botox and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins that can temporarily help improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and facial lines to develop and become deeper over time. Botox, Dysport and Dysport temporarily relax these muscle contractions. The skin will appear smoother.

Common areas to treat include the forehead and frown lines. You can see results in as little as two days. However, they will gradually improve over two weeks. You can expect to see results for as long as four months, if you do the right dosage.

What is HydraFacial and how does it work?

HydraFacial uses patented technology for all skincare needs.

HydraFacial serums are made from nourishing ingredients to give you an instant glow.

The first step involves gentle exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and reveal new layers. Next, a light chemical peel will be applied to smoothen the skin and prepare it in order for painless extractions. Next, debris is extracted from the pores with painless suction. Finally, the skin is moisturized. To enhance the skin's glow, antioxidants as well as peptides are instilled. The best thing is that there is no downtime.

What is Dermaplane?

Dermaplaning is a surgical procedure that uses a medical-grade blade to remove dead skin and other debris. A single session of Dermaplaning can remove 2-3 weeks of buildup from the skin's dead skin cells. Dermplane is painless and non-invasive. Although it may look like shaving, dermplane is more efficient because the blade can reach the top layer of the skin. The hair will not grow back darker - dermaplaning targets vellus hairs (peach fuzz), which are the same size as the original. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. This procedure is painless and requires no downtime.

What is Chemical Peel?

Chemical peels are treatments that use a chemical solution to treat the skin's top layers. Chemical peels can improve the skin texture and radiance. They can also reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Chemical peels can be performed in three strengths: deep, medium, or superficial. Improvement in the skin varies depending on your concerns and which peel is selected to address your needs. Multiple treatments are recommended for most people to get the best results.

These are some highly rated medical spas in Kansas City, MO:

This is a review for medical spas in Kansas City, MO:
"I've been to about a dozen different medical spas and plastic surgery offices across the country, and this one has been my absolute favorite so far. Great customer service, very knowledgeable staff, good products and incredible prices. I was paying almost $100 more for a single chemical peel/hydrafacial at other medical spas and still wasn't getting the results I got from visiting Mia Bella. Not only are the estheticians friendly and thorough, but they take their time on your procedures (low light, relaxing music) and really make a practical, result-driven procedure feel like a trip to the spa. Oh, and I received derma planning at the beginning of each procedure for no extra cost (typically a $50 charge at other places)"
