What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm or Restylane are hyaluronic fillers that are suspended in gel carriers. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acids immediately pulls in water and increases volume. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers dissolve naturally and can last up to one year, with some lasting even longer.
