What are HA fillers?
Juvederm and Restylane, hyaluronic Acid fillers, are suspended within a gel carrier. This gel helps the injection of hyaluronic Acid stay in its place. The hyaluronic a immediately works by drawing in water. This increases the volume. This is great for moderate to deeper wrinkles and folds of the face or areas where more volume is desired like cheeks or lips. These fillers can be dissolved naturally, with most lasting for at least one year. Some may last even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]
Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the Kansas–Missouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.
Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.
The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.
There are many options for HA Fillers. To deliver dramatic enhancements, we use Restylane as well as Juvederm. More options, customized results.
What are Neurotoxins and how can they be avoided?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause wrinkles and facial lines to develop and become deeper over time. Botox and Dysport will weaken these muscle contractions temporarily leaving the skin visibly smoother.
Common treatment areas include the forehead, frown lines, and crows feet. You can see results in as little as two days. However, they will gradually improve over two weeks. Results can last up four months if taken as directed.
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a bio-stimulatory injectable that contains poly-L-lactic Acid. It helps to gradually restore facial volume. It stimulates the natural production of collagen in your skin by slowly injecting it. The poly-L-lactic acids is gradually biodegraded over several months and replaced by a network of new collagen. Treatment areas could include the cheeks, jawline, nasolabialfolds, temples and cheeks. The majority of patients will need three treatments in the first few months, followed by one annual treatment. You can expect to see results for up to two years.
What is Kybella anyway?
Kybella, an injectable treatment approved for permanently eliminating fat cells, is available. A single session may require up to five Kybella vials depending on how much fat is present. Additional sessions may be necessary depending on the extent of the treatment. The most common area of treatment is the submental fat otherwise known as a 'double chin'. What is HydraFacial, exactly?
HydraFacial uses patented technology for all skincare needs.
HydraFacial serums are made from nourishing ingredients to give you an instant glow.
First, clean and peel the skin to reveal a new layer. This is done by gentle exfoliation. A light chemical peel is then applied to the skin to resurface it and prepare it for painless extracts. Next, the pores are cleaned out using painless suction and the skin is nourished. To enhance the skin's glow, antioxidants as well as peptides are instilled. The best part is there is no downtime!
What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning is a surgical procedure that uses a medical-grade blade to remove dead skin and other debris. A single session of Dermaplaning can remove 2-3 weeks of buildup from the skin's dead skin cells. Dermplane does not require any pain and is non-invasive. Although it may look like shaving, dermplane is more efficient because the blade can reach the top layer of the skin. The hair does not get darker as dermaplaning is designed to target the vellus hair, also known as peach fuzz. It will grow back the same color and size. The way the surgeon cuts hair doesn't create thicker hair. This procedure is painless and requires no downtime.
What is Chemical Peel?
Chemical peels are treatments that use a chemical solution to treat the skin's top layers. Chemical peels can improve the skin texture and radiance. They can also reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Chemical peels are available in three strengths: superficial, medium and deep. You can see a difference in your skin depending on your concerns, and which peel you choose to address them. Multiple treatments are recommended for best results.
What is Clear + Brilliant Laser?
Clear + Brilliant Laser's advanced technology is used to provide Clear + Brilliant treatments. From there, your practitioner can recommend a Clear + Brilliant Laser treatment regimen.
