What are HA fillers, exactly?
Juvederm, Restylane and other hyaluronic acids fillers are suspended in a gel carrier. This gel allows the hyaluronic acids to stay in place when injected. The hyaluronic acids immediately pulls in water and increases volume. This is great for moderate to deeper wrinkles and folds of the face or areas where more volume is desired like cheeks or lips. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repetitive muscle contractions can cause facial lines and wrinkles to form and get deeper over time. Botox/Dysport will temporarily decrease muscle contractions and make skin smoother.
Common areas to treat include the forehead and frown lines. Although results are visible in a few days following treatment, the effects will last for two weeks. The effects of the treatment can last for up to four months if administered correctly.
What is Sculptra, exactly?
Sculptra injectable is a bio stimulatory injection made from poly-L lactic acid. It gradually restores facial volume. When injected it stimulates your own skin's natural ability to produce collagen slowly over time. The poly-L–lactic acid is biodegraded gradually and replaced by a matrix of new collagen over several months. Treatment areas can include the jawline and temples. Some people require three treatments initially, then one each year. Results can last more than two years!
What is Kybella anyway?
Kybella is an injectable treatment approved to permanently destroy fat cells. Depending on the amount of fat present one to five vials of Kybella may be needed during a single treatment session and multiple treatment sessions may be necessary. The submental fat is the most commonly treated area. Also known as a "double chin", it is also known as the submental fat. Once the desired aesthetic goal has been achieved, treatment can be stopped.

While it looks similar to shaving, Dermplane is far more effective as the blade is able to reach the top of the skin. There's no reason to be concerned about your hair becoming darker. Dermaplaning works on the vellus (peach fuzz), and the hair grows back exactly the same size. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. There is no downtime with this treatment.
