What are HA fillers?

Juvederm, Restylane and other hyaluronic acids fillers are suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the injection of hyaluronic Acid stay in its place. The hyaluronic acid works immediately by pulling in water, therefore, increasing the volume where injected. This is great for moderate to deeper wrinkles and folds of the face or areas where more volume is desired like cheeks or lips. These fillers dissolve naturally and can last up to one year, with some lasting even longer.

About Kansas City

Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 508,090 in 2020,[6] making it the 36th most-populous city in the United States. It is the most populated municipality of the Kansas City metropolitan area, which straddles the KansasMissouri state line and has a population of 2,392,035.[7][2] The city borders Johnson County and Kansas City, Kansas (Wyandotte County) in Kansas. Most of the city lies within Jackson County, with portions spilling into Clay, Cass, and Platte counties. Kansas City was founded in the 1830s as a port on the Missouri River at its confluence with the Kansas River coming in from the west. On June 1, 1850, the town of Kansas was incorporated; shortly after came the establishment of the Kansas Territory. Confusion between the two ensued, and the name Kansas City was assigned to distinguish them soon after.

Sitting on Missouri's western boundary with Kansas, with Downtown near the confluence of the Kansas and Missouri Rivers, the city encompasses about 319.03 square miles (826.3 km2), making it the 23rd largest city by total area in the United States. It serves as one of the two county seats of Jackson County, along with the major suburb of Independence. Other major suburbs include the Missouri cities of Blue Springs and Lee's Summit and the Kansas cities of Overland Park, Olathe, Lenexa, and Kansas City, Kansas.

The city is composed of several neighborhoods, including the River Market District in the north, the 18th and Vine District in the east, and the Country Club Plaza in the south. Celebrated cultural traditions include Kansas City jazz; theater, as a center of the Vaudevillian Orpheum circuit in the 1920s; the Chiefs and Royals sports franchises; and famous cuisine based on Kansas City-style barbecue, Kansas City strip steak, and craft breweries.

What are Neurotoxins?

Botox and Dysport, injectable neurotoxins, can temporarily reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Repeated muscle contractions can result in facial lines and wrinkles becoming deeper and more severe over time. Botox or Dysport temporarily weakens these muscle contractions, making the skin appear smoother.

The forehead, frown lines and crows feet are all common areas for treatment. Although results are visible in a few days following treatment, the effects will last for two weeks. When dosed appropriately results may last up to four months.

What is Dermaplane?

Dermaplaning uses a surgical-grade blade that is medical-grade to remove the skin's surface layer of dead cells, debris, and hair. A single session can remove about 2-3 weeks worth of built up dead skin cells or debris. Dermplane has no side effects and is completely painless. Although it may look like shaving, dermplane is more efficient because the blade can reach the top layer of the skin. The hair does not get darker as dermaplaning is designed to target the vellus hair, also known as peach fuzz. It will grow back the same color and size. A surgical blade does not give the illusion of thicker hair. There is no downtime with this treatment.

What is a Chemical Peel?

A chemical peel involves the application of a chemical solution to the skin to remove the upper layers of the dermis. Chemical peels are a great way to improve the skin's texture, radiance, reduce wrinkles, decongest pores, treat acne-prone skin and help with fine lines. Chemical peels can be performed in three strengths: deep, medium, or superficial. The results of a chemical peel will vary depending on the concerns you have and what type of treatment you choose. For most, multiple treatments are recommended to achieve the best results.
