What are HA Fillers?
Juvederm, Restylane and other hyaluronic acids fillers are suspended in a gel carrier. This gel helps the injectable hyaluronic to remain in place. The hyaluronic Acid immediately draws in water to increase the volume of the area where it is injected. This is ideal for areas with more volume, such as cheeks or lips, or wrinkles that are deeper or more prominent. These fillers are dissolved naturally with most lasting up to a year and some even longer.
Aesthetic medicine is a broad term for specialties that focus on altering cosmetic appearance through the treatment of conditions including scars, skin laxity, wrinkles, moles, liver spots, excess fat, cellulite, unwanted hair, skin discoloration, and spider veins. [1] Traditionally, it includes dermatology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, reconstructive surgery and plastic surgery,[2] surgical procedures (liposuction, facelifts, breast implants, Radio frequency ablation), non-surgical procedures (radio frequency skin tightening, non- surgical liposuction, chemical peel, high-intensity focused electromagnetic field, radio frequency fat removal), and a combination of both.[3] Aesthetic medicine procedures are usually elective.[4]
Kansas City (abbreviated KC or KCMO) is the largest city in Missouri by population and area. What are Neurotoxins?
Botox
and Dysport are injectable neurotoxins which can temporarily improve wrinkle appearance. Repeated muscle contractions can result in facial lines and wrinkles becoming deeper and more severe over time. Botox and Dysport temporarily reduce muscle contractions. This will make the skin look smoother.
Common treatment areas are the forehead, frown lines and Crows feet. The results can be seen in a few days, but they will improve over the next two weeks. You can expect to see results for as long as four months, if you do the right dosage.
What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a bio stimulatory injectable comprised of poly-L-lactic acid that helps to restore facial volume gradually. It is injected into the skin to stimulate your natural ability to create collagen over time. Over time, the poly-L lactic acid is biodegraded to create a new meshwork of collagen. The areas that may be treated include the temples, cheeks or nasolabialfolds as well as the jawline. The majority of patients will need three treatments in the first few months, followed by one annual treatment. The results can last up to two years.
What is Kybella exactly?
Kybella is an approved injectable treatment that permanently eliminates fat cells. A single session may require up to five Kybella vials depending on how much fat is present. Additional sessions may be necessary depending on the extent of the treatment. The submental fat is the most commonly treated area. Also known as a "double chin", it is also known as the submental fat. Treatments can be stopped once the desired aesthetic goal was achieved.

What is Dermaplane?
Dermaplaning uses a medical-grade surgical blade to remove the surface layer of dead skin, debris, and hair. A single dermaplaning session is able to remove around 2-3 weeks of built-up dead skin cells and debris from your skin. Dermplane is completely pain-free and non-invasive. While it looks similar to shaving, Dermplane is far more effective as the blade is able to reach the top of the skin. You don't have to worry about your hair getting darker. Dermaplaning targets the peach fuzz (vellus hair) which grows back in the same size and color. It doesn't give the illusion that the hair is thicker because of the way it is cut. This procedure is painless and requires no downtime.
